General Manager New Zealand+64 9 3799 463
As the General Manager for New Zealand I’m responsible for the business strategy, commercial performance, building client relationships and mentoring staff to bring out their full potential.
I’m a Chartered Engineer with a Masters in Civil Engineering from the Imperial College London with over 20 years’ experience working across a wide variety of projects for large civil infrastructure engineering projects in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. These projects have been across dams and hydropower, wastewater treatment plants, water treatment works, water supply, wastewater reticulation, and rail electrification.
My key areas of technical expertise include constructability for large civil infrastructure engineering projects, risk management and safety in design.
I’m passionate about collaboratively delivering projects with our clients that truly positively influence the world we live in.
Coffey’s General Manager New Zealand, Alice Chaplin is supporting mental health awareness in engineering and how we can all work together to remove the stigma around mental health.
