Laboratory Manager - East Tamaki, Auckland+64 9 3799 463
I’m the East Tamaki Laboratory Manager and an Engineering Geologist based in East Tamaki, Auckland. I have 14 years’ experience in the industry, predominantly as an Engineering Geologist and within the last three and a half years have managed a team of motivated field and lab testing technicians servicing the wider Auckland region in the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.
All of my experience has been in New Zealand, in particular, Auckland, Waikato, Wellington and the Far North. I was also fortunate to be given the opportunity to be a part of the EQC Land Assessment Team following the Christchurch Earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. I’ve been involved in a number of large infrastructure tender bids, detailed site investigations and detailed design projects since joining Coffey, in particular the SH16 Causeway Upgrade Project, Southern Corridor Improvements Project and Transmission Gully. I’ve recently been working on the Auckland Airport Development doing extensive testing for the widening of the existing Alpha and Lima runways and new hardstands. I’ve also continued to work on the construction phase of the Southern Corridor Improvement project.
During my eight years with Coffey, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of extremely talented and knowledgeable engineers from New Zealand and Australia from whom I have learnt a great deal, enabling me to be a better team leader, geologist and person. I chose to join Coffey because of the strong technical knowledge of senior staff leading the industry and the opportunity to work on large infrastructure projects. I’m proud to be part of the Coffey family.
